Why do all the farmers markets close so early? By the time I drag myself out of bed and eat breakfast/lunch they are almost over

Go in the garage and drive all the ways to the top, where there is no roof over your head, a nice breeze, and views of the city.

Unless you are driving up the mountain in the middle of the night, when the plows aren't running, you won't need chains.

Was really disappointed when I visited. The service was terrible and the food mediocre. Had rave reviews on this sub, but I suspect this sub is full of college aged kids who don't leave the hill very often.
PipeLayer2016 t1_j8m2sgc wrote
Overrated, the service is not good, and Thayer St is a pain to visit in general. But, Reddit's prime demographic probably doesn't stray far from College Hill, so for them, it's the best thing around.

Native Son in Attleboro. No lines, in and out quick. Plenty of parking and easy access off of the freeway

Need more details, but that is competitive for a 2 bedroom, or a well appointed smaller unit

Well. Looks like it's mostly waterfront property in RI that reddit couldn't afford, and have probably been cash buyers all along.

Try the views from Dear Park. Fucking spectator! Last time I was up there I saw the sun setting over the Strait to the west and a comet over head.

I'm of the same ilk. Stumbled upon the place while I was working on a project near by and ended up eating there at least 3 times a week for the following month. Learned a little while ago that they do brunch on the weekends. Now it's my favorite brunch spot. No lines or waiting lists for breakfast, and as you said service and food are top notch. And a pitcher full of the best bloody mary I've had in awhile, oh yeah. So many good beers on tap too. They have earned my business and I will keep recommending Craft Burgers and Beer.

That is at the old mill pond, where elk creek dumps onto the Sullivan river. They are at the parking lot next to the bridge that goes over the, now demolished, mill pond dam.

No pond there now though. I helped tear it down about 4 or 5 years ago and do a bunch of habitat restoration. Locals weren't happy, but I suspect they aren't ever happy with any type of change

Saw every animal in the DNRs fish and wildlife game catalog while I was living up there. Heards of elk, moose, turkey, beaver, even a wolf.

Spent a solid 3 years, living in an abandoned campground, up in north Pend Oreille County. Definitely the best part of the state, and this is coming from someone born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula. Truly god's country. Miss the larch turning in the fall. That looks a bit like the old mill pond.

Allegedly we do. Though knowing how things work in RI, I won't believe it until I see it not buried under the polluted dirt from the 6-10 connector

Not uncommon for garbage to be sorted for recycling in some municipalities, but I'd be shocked if Fat Tony from Waste Management in New England did anything of the sort, unless they could make a buck by shipping it to a third world country to cover a pile of stole catalytic converters
