Youtuber Coffeezilla interviewed a guy who claimed he offered the story to Bloomberg months ago, but they weren't interested. Who knows.
But there certainly seemed to be a Theranos level of willingess to crown this guy the next big business genius and not to dig too deeply.

That's a great attempt to say the Indian government is not doing anything unusual.
Just because most countries have some intelligence capabilities doesn't mean they are all equal. Not every country is watching its citizens in real time straight from the ISP, without even needing to ask for access.

Almost 10 years ago Buzzfeed wrote one of its finest articles about a New Mexico town that wanted to be a space hub and host Virgin Galactic. It all went horribly wrong.
