I know this sounds crazy but have you considered staying in a hotel for the immediate future? You can often negotiate pay if you stay for a while (I’ve had to do this for work travel and a lot of places have worked with me, some not though it really just depends). It could fit in your budget for the short term if you need to be out right now for peace of mind.

It was just frustrating because I had to pay for it out of their normal service and they kept insisting it was completed. But yes definitely a thankless job & I’m appreciative of the people holding those jobs!

It took me three phone calls and three times scheduling for them to pick up my stuff. Twice they said it was "completed" and my trash remained on my curb. Good luck they are not the best. I called each time and finally they picked it up.

I swim too! Well I haven’t joined one here yet but back in Ohio I swam regularly. If you don’t mind my asking which gym/pool did you choose? I’ve been looking. DM if you’d rather not put it out for the world to see if you’d rather.
Also I’m sorry about the weather! I can’t imagine being used to a 70 winter and then dealing with this.

I’m 31F and in a similar boat of trying to just get out there but now that it’s winter it’s extra difficult to get out there. Still need to join a gym though so maybe that will help.

Thanks! Just out of curiosity, should you avoid the in-Boston lines because of reliability?

Thanks for the input! I was considering biking but I'll grab a ride instead. Good to know about rush hour, too. I'll keep that in mind and do my best to be early.
