I've had to do this twice in 50 years. Neither time really hurt for me to take 15 extra minutes to throw together some clothes in a suitcase.

Honestly everywhere has a Walmart in the US. We just bought stuff we forgot or needed.

Wednesday (after work) I cleaned the house.

Thursday I cooked for 20 people. They ate all the turkey.

Friday I drove my kid back to college and went to see my dad. It was a 12 hour car trip.

Saturday I went shopping for weekly food and got a haircut. I made a 4-hour ham. It was delicious.

Today I'm doing fuck-all.

And that's why the anti-vaxx cousins are not welcome in our house. And (praise baby Jesus) neither are their hell-spawn children.

Ironically, both their vaccinated mothers (who snubbed us last year for it) are coming to dinner because their precious babies never learned how to cook a decent meal apparently.

I'm finding that the lowest level of my company's "insurance" doesn't pay for shit.

They want you to meet the deductible ($2500 or $5000) before they even start doing 80/20.

And my lowest cost dental? It only covers cleanings. Might as well pay for that with cash and save the money.

So you really need to look what they cover OP. You're better off with an 80/20 plan with a high monthly rate than a 0 plan with a low monthly rate. Unless everybody in your family is like super healthy and never has accidents. But even then I would pour money into and HSA as one accident or diagnosis will drain your bank account.

US health insurance sucks ass. Thanks a lot Republicans!
