There’s a decent argument I’ve heard.
People don’t drive to Florida beaches from out of state and then go home the same day, maybe spending a few bucks on parking and food like they do here. People there spend hundreds on hotels and do a whole vacation there. If NJ didn’t charge for beaches you’d have people from PA and NY who would use the beaches here and basically contribute nothing in revenue.

Most other states have outsourced it. You go to the DMV and they give you a paper temporary ID and then a week later you get the real thing and it’s a super advanced ID with cool security features.

New Orleans didn’t move any runways though. Hell, they didn’t even have any public transportation that needed to be moved (seriously needing to take an Uber to get downtown there is so annoying)

Trying to turn that back to rail would be the hardest NIMBY battle in history. Rail trails aren’t really made to create bike paths, they’re made to ensure trains don’t come back.

The exit 4 on ramp southbound is so fucking idiotic
Why is it two lanes and not just one? Why are there no barriers so people don’t cut across?
They could literally fix it with just jersey barriers and fix so much of the problem. The two lanes need to merge together before joining 287.

They’re same people who won’t adopt a dog to you if you don’t have two 24/7 stay at home adults with a 10ft fence and no kids or other pets. They look down on everyone.
Oh your cat got out? Not a responsible owner in their eyes, so they think it’s their call to steal it.
