Good.

As someone who went to a Catholic school growing up in NY, their practices are based on a business model. Among other issues, like religious indoctrination (I was chastised and punished for refusing to participate in religious ceremonies), schools that operate outside the educational laws of the state should not receive public funds. Full stop. I understand some communities have been served by private schools for decades and those schools are ingrained in the fabric of those communities, but if the people in those areas want to volunteer to support those schools, that's their choice. It shouldn't be the state's burden, especially if the practices of those schools support bigotry like the Mid Vermont Christian School.

Schools and public services should not be based on a private business model. This bill is sensible and paves the way for communities that have lacked a public school to gain access to a public school system that relies on legislated standards.

That's all well and good, but schools like the VT Christian Academy want public money while refusing to abide by VT state anti-discrimination laws. If a school cannot agree to abide by the law, I don't want my tax dollars going to support their bigotry. Put the money toward creating a public school in the area that will support all students.

You have to be the weakest, most pathetically insecure piece of shit to use any racial slur against anyone, let alone young girls.

It doesn't matter what slur it is, if it makes someone scared, intimidated or feel marginalized, you are garbage. The mind-blowing ignorance of racists is that the only way they can feel good about themselves is to make someone else feel badly about something they cannot control.

Get a life.

That big polar vortex was being pushed around by warm air. So once it passed, there's just warm air behind it.

This unfortunately will be how it goes. Winter weather will be both unseasonably warm and frigid, as opposed to just cold. The time of consistent winter weather has passed.

Weird, I hear this a lot, but I find Shaw's to be cheaper in a lot of ways. I usually do really well at Shaw's.

My kids juice boxes for school are like $1.50 less per box, Usually get 2-for-1 deals on dry goods, produce deals are usually good, and special items like stevia sweetener is like $2-3 dollars cheaper at Shaw's.

I removed them from public roadsides in my neighborhood. People can cover their property in neo-fascist-looking political bullshit if that's what they feel the need to do, but when you plaster that crap all over my street, in my neighborhood, I pull them up.

These cancerous types of Republicans can keep throwing their money away on signs, and I'll keep throwing them out. If they can't devise any actual policy platform, besides the mass proliferation of garbage, illegal on public roadsides in Vermont, simply because we lack the manpower to enforce the law, that's their problem.
