I was bitchin' about this to my buddy, and he simply put it... "Everyone in that warehouse is stealing. Everyone." After looking at all the people saying they got their order dropped, and how wrong their inventory count was, I tend to agree.

I had the 60 Ohm version. Unfortunately, I had a magnet mishap. I had them in the Monoprice Retro frame with Brainwavz hybrid pads and was very surprised. I was going to put them into my Philips Fidelio frame and as I placed the driver on the table, the screwdriver magically shot across the table (really only couple of inches) and impaled the cone. I was super pissed and will buy them again sometime.

I went through a phase where I was buying all sort of drivers and putting them into whatever. The 2 biggest suggestions I can make are from Aliexpress.

52mm Denon Edge Free $70ish - They have a black plastic or brass housing versions. The 300 Ohm brass is amazing on tubes. A nice sightly V-shape depending what you put it in.

But I think the one you are looking for is the K100 50mm $80ish. It's a white/chrome cone with a blue housing. It is the MOST detailed thing I've ever heard. Almost like listening to a set of Makie monitors... almost. You will have to "tune" the cans to get it close to what you are looking for.

Your welcome.! The next step I (and many others) would suggest is getting the ifi Zen DAC or ZEN CAN Amp (which I would suggest now if you are going to get a DAC later). They both have the XBass and 3D features. The XBass gives you a tiny bump in bass and the 3D gives a tiny bump in clarity. Best $200 ever.

Good job! You will want to make or buy a strap for them (I'll post measurements when I get them) to get the weight off the top of your skull. The M1070 hurt my head after just a few minutes. I've made straps out of sham-wow and zipties and it is important.

I going to bite. I haven't heard anything about the M1570C. I know they are heavy as a brick and that stupid mini XLR pinout is stupid, but for $185 I'm going to try it. Review coming soon.
