I'm glad they now have a reason to claim bigger paychecks. More public, more sponsors, better payments.
After watching the highlights. Damn, Roma's goalkeeper is a BEAST.

Any teenager claiming that is openly admitting that he/she did not read Shakespeare. Because the attitudes described in that story depict things that today are frowned upon instead of romantized.
•They knew each other for a day
•Romeo was friendzoned by Rosaline, Juliet was his second choice... a leftover.
•He was a sick stalker and a manipulator. "O then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do / They pray; grant thou, lest faith turn to despair" (amazing how Shakespeare, with a single line of text, could unleash HOURS of literature study)... He's literally coercing her using faith as leverage. And lets not talk about how he stalks her, hiding at the backyard... Not revealing himself until he was spotted.
•His words about love after meeting her for a few hours would be a redlight for any woman today, hinting that he's being nice only to get in her pants.
The dual suicide drama is so... toxic

I didn't like the Movies, I didn't like the books.
Yet, I still loved the idea. An idea that earned its place in my head right next to Orwell & Huxley's ones.

If it's electric, you need to replace the resistance that heats up the water. Otherwise, all you need to do is remove the plaque buildup by filling the heater pipes with either vinegar or hydrochloric acid and purging it after an hour or so after it did its chemistry. Repeat with clean water 2 or 3 times to remove any traces of acids (tho it is not dangerous, it does sting in your eyes a bit if you shower with those residues).

You like being blunt, direct and honest with your friends, without fear of offending them, because you like to deliver the direct message without space for misunderstanding?
Yeah, they don't like that here... You've to sugar coat everything.

Instead of attempting to cloak what you want to say into something soft, say it already with no sugar coating. Quit considering the weaklings' oversensitivity to language (but, if someone has to tell you this, it is because you're probably one of them too).

I see, everyday, what Asimov meant by "lost in non-translation". So many people get it wrong of "play fool" by the fact that early religion was actually a very racist discipline.

So, the article title is saying that the guys that saved the horse are herectics? /s
Asimov had a short writing about the term ("lost in non translation", part of "bicentennial man and other stories"), using the term this century is certainly deprecated; considering that a nationality should never be used as neither possitive or negative trait for anyone.

I'm fascinated by how the brain misguides itself thinking of himself as a third party, driving our bodies to do things so that we may supply for his needs.
Layers and layers of mischief and deception, lies about ourselves that we believe while we are aware of the same lies but chose to ignore them.
