Highly suggest joining in with the Litter Krewe. They are a good bunch of folks and it's more fun than it sounds. But it's also a great way to get involved initially and meet other people who share your interest in doing good things for the local community. It'll probably lead to you meeting people that know of other local situations that could put your generous efforts to work.

Ian Curtis was a big Burrough's fan although the author snubbed him when they met.

I think I just have an aversion to "what is the best book" type of questions. I feel like the iceberg metaphors are basically the same thing. I just don't see that books need to be ranked. Does everything need to be a competition? Isn't literature more of a collaborative effort?

But please don't get me wrong. This isn't really directed towards your post.

Yeah. I'm over in Middlesex County and noticed it on my car last night while getting out of work. I think it's pollen triggered by the unseasonably warm temperatures.

No. I mean hobos will be shitting in your doorway and shooting up behind your dumpster. We're kind of in a post-pandemic limbo period where a lot of things are starting back up but the streets are still a little deserted at times and the only people out there are the disadvantaged and homeless. I live and work in downtown Lowell. The rental rates are creeping up too.
