You can also just use a webbrowser with desktop mode.

Not with my experience. It boots me to the start of a video, subreddit, .etc .etc and reloads it far more often than not.

Not how I would phrase it but I do agree with you there. I have 16 gigs and almost got 32. If I have 5 chrome tabs open and 3 of them are youtube videos, going back to one I left half-way and needing to refind where I started stopped is a PITA. I have the RAM to do this, don't just not use it because I switched to watching an hour long video an hour ago.

Countries? What does the country matter when it comes to an industry being a natural monopoly?

Yes. The cost of building out networks for an ISP is cost-prohibitive even when you have everything going for you for example. You don't see 5 different pipes being dug by 5 different water companies, .etc .etc.

Yes. See ISPs, any kind of utility like electricity, and anything on a state to state scale. On that scale it's not cheap and it's the main problem with them having competition.

It would when you consider just how much plastic wrappings could is lying available to be recycled that could be and how much plastic could be reused with no problems.

Not bothering to /= not possible. Frankly I'm surprised that the big companies aren't looking to use as much recycled plastic in the first place when it can be, it'd be cheaper than what they're doing now.

> So the effects were: - No one remembered to bring reusable bags - All the shopping baskets were stolen - Reusable plastic/polyester/whatever bags were made available for sale cheap - Everyone just buys them at checkout and likely throws them away after they've accumulated too many
The biggest issue with that is even when you do bring your own bag in, you sometimes still have to get an extra bag anyway because you didn't bring enough bags.
It'd be cheaper and better for everyone if they would just eliminate the waste at the manufacturer, shipping, and retail level. There's no need to put plastic air bags in a cardboard box with something that isn't fragile or is going to matter if it moves around short of there being complete destruction.

If only you hadn't just added a paywall to using it. Social media works as it does because you're free to sign up and use it as you will. Make someone pay and now you've just added a monthly cost that they will have to consider.

A smaller box of lets say 2 ft by 1.5 foot means it'd be harder to move around unconsciously or be bumped around while also letting more people be on the plane. Needing to sedate yourself is an additional task on your part and it's going to be more difficult to be exact (Too much, you're still asleep by the time you're landed. Too little and you're awake before you're there. Have someone wake everyone that opted to be sedated up and you limit the majority of those issues.).

They could offer sedation, being stuffed into a metal box, and I'd take it over what little is otherwise available as is. Unless you have something important or time is going to play a key part it'd be more comfortable as well.

It still is. The vast majority of AI art is passable for a random person but if you want a particular style it's not that great. Unless it becomes miles better it'll probably just become a tool that artists use but don't rely on.

Mate, I dislike having to deal with policies that I understand why they exist. Trying to sell less convenience for me as it being "cool" is just going to make me tell you to fuck off. I'm using a credit card, just run it through the POS and let me pay already.
