Reply to George Santos' campaign spent more than $26,000 at an Italian restaurant in Queens. That's enough to buy 1,131 orders of the rigatoni bolognese. by MrKleen10
This guy is completely terrible, but this story makes me wonder what would happen if someone investigated all politicians like they investigated Santos. I'd guess we'd have an endless supply of stories like this.

I don't think you can call out specific trains, it's more the stops. I'd guess the most dangerous stops are in the most dangerous parts of town (nothing surprising).

I hesitate to chime in because I know nothing about wood strengths, but I remember when maple baseball bats were all the rage (Barry Bonds used one). The argument was that maple bats provided an edge because they were harder than ash (common wood for bats).

For your purpose I do not think the coat you suggested is right. Look for a thigh length parka, with down or down alternative fill, and GORE-TEX.

I'm not an expert by any stretch, but in my experience the magic of GORE-TEX wears off after a while. When you first get the coat, water will bead and fall off. After a while the coat loses some of that wetness protection (in my experience). I like to wash it with GORE-TEX safe detergent (right in the washing machine), spray it down with waterproofing spray, and then dry it in the dryer. I do this probably 2 times a year and it works like a charm.

Their GORE-TEX stuff is quite good. You can get the detergent and spray and keep the rain resistance top notch for a long time.
