Related, when we unlock the secrets of our microbiome. Gut flora have a major impact on our brains/bodies, and our understanding is still in its infancy. Figuring out which species of gut bacteria have what impact on us will be huge.

Hit the nail on the head. It’s a fantastic tool to assist creators, and the possibilities and benefits far outweigh its misuse.

My sister had a pot-belly pig as a pet growing up. Pigs are just oinky doggos. Little guy was exactly like a puppy, loved scritches and cuddles and playtime.
Then, you know, he grew. As pigs do. Went to go live on the farm.

Reply to comment by Anastariana in CGI-powered ads are coming to Prime Video and Peacock. Both companies demonstrated new ad formats for Virtual Product Placements (VPP), a post-production technique to insert a brand into a show or movie after it's been filmed. by cartoonzi
Seems like the show will still get to decide when and where these ads show up, it’s just that the content is dynamic. Pretty innocent, actually, apart from being immersion-breaking if the ad is for something the characters don’t have access to.

There’s a place in KC that delivers food to your table via miniature train. It’s nothing but a novelty, because service is slooooooow.
Granted, a train track presents a specific problem in only being able to serve one table at a time.

DNA editing is a crap shoot. Good mutations survive and get passed on, bad mutations die.
It’s a tale as old as time.

Saw that on an episode of MacGuyver, I think, like 30 years ago.

Ooh, the idea of picking up centuries later is really neat. That was great!
