Wow, this is apparently much taller than it looks in the picture.

Ikea sells cheap table legs that you could replace with: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/cat/legs-trestles-11845/
I used 2 of the Tillslag for a desk, and I really like them.
If you know that the table won't be moving, you could add some brackets like this to the studs: https://www.rockler.com/heavy-duty-steel-shelf-brackets-black-finish

I liked the book as a kid because it was so different than anything I had ever heard before, but our 4th grade teacher read it to us, and I think that was a little too early. Although reading it as an adult feels like it was written for children.
VERY surprised to hear that it's being "banned" today, because I think we were assigned to read it 3 times in primary school, and my teachers directly used thia book to criticize communism.

I just listed to an audiobook "Project Kawayan" that was similar to this idea.

Agreed. Closing just one duct has tripped my blower fan in the past from the change in air pressure.
Might need a professional for this. But honestly, best thing to do is leave the vent. I don’t see any reason to remove it other than the slight inconvenience of furniture positioning.

Reply to What's the last book to put you into a reading slump? Or the last book to get you out of one? by cantspellrestaraunt
"Berlin" by Robert Harris got me out of my slump. It was an unusual one for me, but I couldn't put it down! After that I went looking for similar books, so I read "Pompeii" by him, and then The Hunt for Red October.

I subscribed to this for a year. The first issue I received contained an "Editor's Note" filled with straight up misinformation about COVID. Like not their opinion on how it was being handled or whatever, but actual lies about the scientific facts.
At least it's printed on the kind of paper that works well as a fire starter. So still useful on my backwoods home.

Never seen this movie, but I wonder to what extent this inspired the Janitor in Scrubs.

Doesn't both the suspension of payments and the forgiveness apply to only federal loans?
