Just make a butter crust, or purchase a premade one. Roll/press into a 9-inch pie dish. Thinly slice 6 apples, 3/4 cup sugar(do 50-50 white and brown), 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp nutmeg. 2 tbsp butter. mix all ingredients, toss into the crust. Cover with top crust, and make sure to add some vents, or make a lattice with the top crust.

Bake at 350 for 35-40, or until apple filling is bubbly, and crust is golden brown. Set aside, let cool, and serve warm with a scoop of your favorite vanilla or maple ice cream.

(takes all but an hour)

There are quite a few local meet up groups here on reddit, as well as on Facebook. Look into joining them! It can be daunting to try and make new friends in a new country, but the best thing is you get to explore who you are outside of your comfort zone! Newark Avenue in JSQ has a ton of amazing indian restaurants and cafes. You could also join a local trivia night! Check out O'Hara's for a good trivia night, or even the Pet Shop in Downtown! Both are teaming with friendly locals who'd be more than happy to chat.

Good Luck!

They're literally limiting service to save money, so that they can get more riders with less overhead. It took 18 minutes to get from NWK to JSQ this morning. For what reason? We got to JSQ and the entire platform was crowded, and this was at the point when service to 33rd had already been restored-- the train to 33rd was full, and not a soul was waiting for 33rd. Just to cram more riders into a single train. Absolute Shit. Not to mention I had taken the NJT from trenton to Newark, and still had some trips on my smartlink-- in hindsight I should have taken it straight to Penn, but still. What the fuck?
