Keep in mind “casualties” included wounded, not just dead, at a roughly 10:1 ratio. Many of those wounded may later return to the fight.

6 is too limited, should include not discriminating based on additional innate traits such as age, country of origin, disability, ethnicity, etc.

Point #3 exactly. In countries where machines are expensive, jobs are still done by humans. In countries where humans are expensive, machines replace them.

Kim Jong-Un has made previous efforts (and speeches) about the need to prioritize economic growth, but like his forefathers he’s “riding a tiger” in the NK Military that keeps him in power. He has to prioritize the military’s desires for weapons and launches or risk a coup.
