I just moved outside of Flemington about 4 years ago to raise my kids here. Hunterdon really does fall in its own little category in NJ.

If you're looking for a family friendly place to raise kids, this is a great place to be. There's a ton of events, farms parks, places within 30-40 minutes for younger kids. Adults and teens though, I mean its kind of dull here, unless you like it that way.

I don't understand what people are talking about when they mention traffic up here. Literally anywhere else in the state south or east has more traffic. I've lived all around and .. Flemington is not bad.

For you right now, there's a bunch of good breweries, there's good local food and farmers markets, but anything other than american classic food is gonna be not great compared to anywhere else in the state. Still only found two good pizza places, and that's stretching it.

Its also very red here. Some blue speckled here and there, but you're gonna see Trump shit all day everywhere you go.

If you're looking for any other specifics like an area in particular feel free to DM me, I've been doing my best to explore the county since we moved and I mean, I like it a lot. Its way better than South Jersey. But many places are.

Broad street diner is on... Broad street, not too far from the arena and family friendly. Used to eat there a lot. There's also Angie's in bordentown but that's a bit south of the arena. I think pats diner has alcohol but the diner is low quality and icky. Killarney's in Hamilton is a bar that I often went to with my kids, and is my biggest suggestion. Their food is great.

Basically don't look in Trenton, try Ewing and Hamilton instead.

Buddy... the reason you don't think you need an exterminator is because that exterminator is doing their job successfully every month.

Pest control substances are way more safe than you think they are when used residentially. They mighty not even want to treat your apartment, just check for signs of infestation.

Don't be a dick. What the landlord is asking for is completely legal. Let the exterminator in. And if you are curious about their work, ask them what they're going to do so you're not making assumptions about how their work is gonna give you a third arm.

Depends on where you work. If you work in the city, don't move west.. But working in New Brunswick or Princeton? Like 45 minutes from where I am and not a bad drive because most of it is back roads.

I live in the area.. Flemington and Clinton are both really cute towns with things to offer, but have different high schools. Raritan has the same high school as Flemington. Clinton is steadily republican, Flemington is steadily democrat (as of today). Raritan is mostly republican but I am pushing the gay agenda here as we speak.

There's a few additional nice towns (Lambertville, High Bridge, Frenchtown, etc) and they all have a little bit difference between them (like ice cream shops, coffee shops, etc), and where you live should probably reflect your political leanings and what you like to be closer to (PA/NYC, which highways).

If you want any more specifics feel free to message me!

You're gonna have to learn where to go to get the best kind of food for everything you're looking for.

If you thought DeLorenzo's was just ok pizza I can't help you. But then again you are from Cali so I don't even know what you consider pizza out there.
