John Baizley of Baroness is a visual artist and has done album art for Baroness, Pig Destroyer, and a bunch of other bands. Rad stuff, his work is recognizable once you become familiar with his style. Jacob Bannon of Converge is another; I think he’s done the art for all of Converge’s records. Same with Ethan McCarthy of Primitive Man. Their sophomore record’s album art, Caustic, is so eye-catching to me. Massive Attack also has great album art- 3D is a sick artist.
