Yeah, BL1’s story is awful and while the gameplay was incredible for the time, they’ve really advanced a lot in gunplay and the random generation of guns

I've never played Earthbound, but this thing is nightmare fuel.

The soundtrack alone is beyond unsettling. Idk what it is about older games with more midi/lowfi music, but it's so much creepier than anything modern. I guess it just sounds more alien and distorted compared to recognizable instruments.

Plus the very concept of the guy, no physical form, and during the final phase he's the entire background with no foreground sprite like all other enemies, and it forms the outline of fetuses to symbolize how he's regressed mentally in his insanity.

You don’t even have to be that good. You just need to have basic learning and comprehension skills so you can learn and adapt to enemies.

People who get so angry they break shit are genuinely the dumbest people I’ve ever met, and have no self control or handle on their emotions.

People who genuinely break their controllers because they’re mad at a game baffle me.

How can you be so low-intelligence and so lacking in self control? The angriest I’ve ever gotten was in Call of Duty trying to do the veteran campaign in the Favela mission. The angriest I ever got was saying “that’s fucking bullshit” and continuing on without throwing a fit.

I love easter eggs, but some of those are a little TOO obvious.
