No way!! That was the janitor's magic trick. Sometimes he used Vaseline, but mostly he just turned them around and sent them on their way. It must have happened often for him to have a technique. The kid would stay trapped and other pupils and teachers would hover around until the janitor turned up and instructed them.

This used to happen at the fence to my primary school all the time. You need to turn the person around, so their back is facing the floor, then they can get out as easily as they got in because their ears are the right way around.

I would just email the person apologising and explain you thought it was a spam call. I don't think you'll get the job but it might clear up any misunderstandings and not make your friend looking like a dick for recommending a farter.
