I grew up inside 495 and would see deer almost daily. I had 4 friends who have totaled cars hitting deer at night before we were 18. Grew up hunting deer.

When I bought a home child care was not significantly less expensive in western MA. In fact they're still some of the most expensive in the entire country. So by moving far from family you aren't avoiding that cost. Childcare is WAY too expensive in this state.

It is the exact opposite. Traffic is significantly better on Mondays (and Fridays) Tue-Thurs is standard issue Boston traffic bullshit. People work from home and skip the commutes Mondays and Fridays.

In my perspective it's a bit of a divide. There are people like me who buy a <500$ pass, sleep in their car, eat pb&j, and only really pay for gas to ski 30+ days a year.

And then there are people spending my yearly total for their family to ski two days.

There really isn't much in between.

Well I mean that does apply to everyone who lives in the city, it is not exactly a unique perspective.
