I've bought nearly every phone I've owned directly from Apple, used them on AT&T and T-Mobile, and they didn't lock...

Reply to Reddit cracked down on revenge porn, creepshots with twofold spike in permabans by thawingSumTendies
I've never ran across any of this, mainly because I keep NSFW content disabled, and I never venture out past than the dozen or so subreddits I'm subscribed to, but damn...that's some horrible stuff.
Good on Reddit for doing something. Revenge porn needs to be taken more seriously..like felony seriously.

Is it possible to block everyone with a blue check? Best to not support such nonsense.

In my car with CarPlay, and that's it. Send simple messages, navigate to somewhere, etc.
I really can't find any use for voice assistants.

Reply to Do you use your iPhone without a case? by topredditgeek
Hell no. I wouldn't carry my phone across my living room without a case.
I use it at work (hospital, so wet, slippery areas, tile, etc.), I take it hiking, camping, limbing, running, use it in the garage/workshop, etc. I would have broken it 100 times in the last year alone.
I also don't care for the feel of the phone without a case. It's sharp and uncomfortable to hold.

The interest rates need to be higher. It encourages saving and less credit/loan usage.
Interest rates set near zero for years is asinine.

The fed wants inflation at or under 2.5%. They have a lot more work to do.

According to the setting app:
"System Data includes caches, logs and other resources currently in use by the system. This value will fluctuate according to system needs."
Mine goes up and down. Right now it's about 10gb on my 256gb phone.

Reply to Question about Start capacitor by Thorgull
If the terminals are tied together on the surface of the capacitor, it's just extra connection points. If they aren't, it's two capacitors in a single housing.
They won't hurt anything, just don't touch them and after a day or so, they will be discharged anyway. If you're really worried, put a bit of shrink tubing over the unused ones. Discharge them with a screwdriver before messing with it.
