I spent a lot of time there in the 90s and 2000s. It’s a beautiful area but it’s very small and everyone knows everyone.

Not a good or bad thing, but the population is ridiculously of French Canadian descent.

I personally think it’s a great time to buy property up there as I’ve seen a lot more people moving in the past, but don’t expect it to be an investment property.

I kinda transitioned from college directly into hosting my own / going to friends places so I don’t have any first hand experience but I did some googling because it sounded like a fun topic.

There’s a ski themed thing at the press room in Portsmouth that probably isn’t a sparkly dress type of place but sounds like something I would enjoy. Dunno if that’s your speed.

Not sure about grocery stores or if they still do it but papa jays in Dover used to deliver beer.
