Never buy gift cards, they’re a scam. Write a personal note saying “I know you like (store), so you can use this to buy yourself something there.” Gift cards are idiotic scams.

No, I hate gift cards. No one should ever buy gift cards, they’re a complete scam. Give money if you’re going to give money. A gift card is just money with strings attached, and it’s more likely that there’ll be money wasted because they buy something that’s under the value of the card and never spend the last few dollars. Gift cards are a SCAM.

As long as you understand that this is stupid, and you should just spend the same amount of money on whatever you want. You’re still buying yourself the gift card, it’s the same thing plus extra steps.

I just wanted a documentary about them today, which also claimed that the scrap metal “thrust them into the Iron Age”. No it didn’t. Making tools out of found metal does not equal being in the Iron Age. The Iron Age was when people figured out how to use raw iron to make tools. They have no iron ore, and if they did they wouldn’t know how to turn it into tools.

Why do you assume that tribal law is automatically bad?
Why do you assume they want to go somewhere else? They could build boats and leave if they wanted.
Where would the flu come from?
You seem to be making a lot of assumptions about them and their lives.

This is interesting because aspirin works better for me than any of those other drugs (except opiates of course).
