I just don’t think there’s a lot of depth there for Sadie, as much as I enjoyed her character in rdr2. She made a lot of sense for some good single player DLC that never came, but a full game the size of RDR3 centred around Sadie just doesn’t move the needle for me personally. Like I said earlier, the Callander boys give you the ability to go further back in time into the prime of the van der linde gang and I think that’s what the vast majority of RDR fans want to experience. Hell, Hosea or Dutch themselves make more sense, although there isn’t really a “redemption” storyline there for either of them.

Charles is intriguing. Sadie doesn’t seem to me to have much more of a story to tell. A life of bounty hunting wouldn’t make for a great game. Would have been good DLC for RDR2. I’ve said in another comment here that Mac Callander would be a great fit because him and Davey are a part of the gang in it’s prime, and we’d get to see Arthur Dutch and Hosea in their primes.

I’m not sure there’s a great fit there for a full Sadie game. She doesn’t have a compelling prequel story coming from life as a housewife, and we already kinda know her post RDR2 story as a bounty Hunter. I think a better fit would be Mac Callander. We are lead to believe he died at Blackwater, but we don’t know that for certain because we just know the Pinkerton got him and we never see him again. Mac and Davey were ruthless outlaws and a part of the Van Der Linde gang in its prime. You could do another prequel where Mac is the main playable character that would show Arthur and Dutch and Hosea in their prime, Mac and Davey’s shenanigans, and the final mission could be finally showing the Blackwater Massacre in gameplay. The epilogue could easily be Mac escaping, finding out his brother died following Blackwater, and choosing to make his own life away from the gang.
