They have several local vets that they work with for non emergencies. It’s a highly professional 501c3 organization.

They work with LIVS in Long Island.

Along with being on the lookout for anyone committing abuse, please also consider donating to the organization. It takes thousands of dollars to treat each of these animals.
I’m involved with the organization and can promise you they are reputable and extremely caring.

I’m not sure exactly what you’re saying so apologies if I’m reiterating the same thing. We do try to get most people to take TB tests when they come here. We also try to get them to take treatments.
The thing is that neither the tests nor the treatments are that great.

It’s really people from all poorer nations. It’s more common among Asian populations. However, something like 95% of Tb cases are latent and will never turn into active Tb. Active Tb usually happens in people with highly compromised immune systems, such as people with untreated HIV and AIDS.

I wasn’t locked in and didn’t really feel threatened. It was a “normal” nyc shakedown that we all experience from time to time. I mostly just felt bad for him because he was clearly on hard times.

How do so many anti-rideshare people know the exact price difference between yellow cabs and Uber/Lyft? 🤔

Because no one would pay that. Titty bars are hurting too.

So you must be willing to pay double occasionally or you wouldn’t know the price of them.

I recently had a guy not want to let me out of his car because he wanted me to pay him in cash. I legit didn’t have cash on me but he didn’t believe me. I wasn’t locked in the car or anything he was just really pressuring me. It was sad, he seemed desperate.

You must not live in the city otherwise you’d be too tied up listening to scammers than doing anything else.

Lol you don’t even live here.
My parents never felt any need to treat me like a child when I moved here at 20.
Also, the people being attacked aren’t disproportionately “pretty” so don’t worry about how hot your daughter is.

More likely is that one of your daughters will accidentally discharge their spray than use it on someone.

Honestly, that might be enough to freak someone out and get them away from you.

For everyone on here that says “I always carry pepper spray with me”, please don’t. It’s not going to help you, it’s just going to cause mass chaos and shut the trains down for hours.
