Already been done. Five years ago, even.

Turkey was supplying Ukraine with lethal weaponry - including drone strike craft - when the rest of NATO was playing wait-and-see.
Turkey's government is absolutely a bunch of assholes, but they're a bunch of assholes who want to see Russia broken. That's why they're in NATO.

It might be worth checking those video games, too. It's possible to get a shrinkwrapped video game case with no video game inside.

For the most part, they've attached themselves to others willing and able to bear the burden of their existence for them. Adding a person to a house doesn't cost that much, though.
There's a chunk, though, of rich non-workers. Trust fund kids, people who pulled off FIRE, wealthy heirs, etc. Anyone who can manage to scrape together a million dollars can live off the interest if they want. This group isn't really acknowledged by the scolds, though.

The Soviets weren't going to send anything. They were utterly shocked that the Bay of Pigs invasion failed. All they were prepared to do for Castro was use his inevitable demise as propaganda material.
There's a reason Castro always distrusted the Soviets and charted his own course. He knew damn well he'd be hung out to dry the second supporting him wasn't convenient to Moscow.

I'm just waiting for the lawsuits. Most of the art that's fed into the algorithms to create the neural networks is copyrighted. As soon as somebody tries to make a significant money off of it, there's going to be some hard questions asked about how the AI-generated sausage gets made.

You make a trip to Digikey and everything you need comes in the mail. You just need the know-how to put the pieces together.
And explosives. The explosives are definitely the hard part.
But, yeah, in general anyone who has the skills to create terror drones probably has better things to do with their time than create terror drones.
