I’m inclined to believe it’s not a wendigo though, since their defining characteristics are black-blue skin like that of a frozen corpse, a head like the skull of a stag, and inhumanly long and thin limbs, on top of an insatiable hunger. It’s unlikely they’re anything from Japanese, Chinese, Korean, or Western European lore either, since those are typically born monsters or undead. Could be something Russian or polish, maybe cursed by a hag for their taboo indulgence.
