Resident/fellow housing, it’s my old building. RIP 16J, you were a good though very basic apartment for a year.
I assume they’ll just make residents find their own housing now. We weren’t even sure until about a month before moving if we were going to get one, I was panic apartment shopping.

They also take the best passport photos I’ve ever seen. I hadn’t showered in days and I probably actually looked terrible in person. I look like a freaking model in my photo, it’s phenomenal

Just here to encourage her to apply to any she can find. I went from retail to medical admin and it was the most relieving change, I was so much less stressed and actually enjoyed going to work.

My daughters school has a program for the high schoolers working with them, learning how to weld and they’ve made some amazing pieces. Such a cool skill to have!

I worked administration in a cardiology office and I can confirm, it’s an awesome job. Decent pay and benefits, good people to work with, and aside from the once in a blue moon difficult patient, everyone is pleasant.

Coffee and fresh fruit. I’ve also got enough pantry staples to get our family of 4 through at least a month, but I’ll always pick up a ton of fruit for the few days we’ll be stuck at home.

This looks amazing! Definitely going to check it out this weekend.
Edit: just spent like two hours there and it’s like the best Saturday we’ve had in awhile. Thanks for the recommendation!

Over the summer we had an energy assessment, everything fully sealed and extra insulation added, all the heaters checked and up to date, everything. My house is still sitting at 63 while being set at 72. I think the heaters just can’t keep up with the cold. It is slowly getting better as the day is heating up though

I love the botanical garden at Roger Williams. Bring a book and you can pretend it’s summer.
I’m home and in pajamas by dark so can’t help you there.

I can definitely make some more cuttings of the monstera! I’m trying to keep mine as a nice central stalk but it REALLY wants to grow extra branches so I have to trim it a lot.

I can just give you some cuttings. I have some rooted monsteras and I need to cut back my pothos and philandendron plants. Let me know!

All of the YMCA’s we’ve been to offer free childcare. The Kent county one was our favorite when the kids were little, the room is huge and has a bouncy house. Plus during the summer you have access to the splash pad out there.

You had a balcony?! We just had windows that were jammed and wouldn’t open.
