I’m a fan of the podcast, we saw him in Nashville 3 years ago and wasn’t really funny. Shows sold out here this weekend though.

I purchased my house here with $3000 down payment, making $15 an hour, and credit score around 640. This was when rates were low but the market was ramping up 3 years ago. My girlfriend paid half the rent but i could have tightened my budget and been able to afford it. It’s a small house in a safe but older neighborhood. It’s a different market now, but if you wait for the right house at the right time, you could live comfortably on that salary here.

I’ve said for years that “they” should turn the mall into a KC plaza style outdoor mall/shopping district. Bring in more biz from around the country. So much empty parking lot space. I know it’s kind of like that with the East side of the mall and Brentwood, but it could be so much bigger and better- and make Springfield much more desirable to visit/live.

Second on homrenovision. Love that channel. I just remodeled my entire house using YouTube and a couple friends to call when I needed to ask a question.
