I mean already had Star Wars Bounty Hunter which was similar but single player.

Republic Commando is basically mandalorians since clones of Jango.

You can play as a bounty Hunter in The Old Republic which is essentially a mandalorian

If you want something similar (but differently) to WoW, try City of Heroes. It was a major competitor to WoW back in the day and is still around and is completely free to play.

Same tab based targeting and skill usage, but instead of Elves and Orcs, you have Super Heroes/Villains, gangs, zombies, mechs, etc. Been playing it for nearly 20 years now.

Between Tales of Symphonia being remastered, Baten Kaitos remastered, and now potentially Skies!? These are my top 3 RPGs of all time of that era. The only games that come close are the Xenoblade series.

It's like the gaming gods are finally answering all of my prayers. I've been wanting to show my wife this game for YEARS because I literally never stop talking about it.

Ramirez is easily one of my favorite villains of all time. The gameplay is awesome and the story is great. It also has one of the best and fun open worlds to explore of all time.

I just hope they reduce random encounter rates.

What games exactly are you talking about? The only Nintendo first party game that fits the bill is the new Pokemon games.

Xenoblade continues to be an absolutely massive RPG epic

Metroid Prime Remastered blew reviewers away

Animal Crossing exploded during Covid shutdown

The only first party nintendo games that I have seen people disappointed in were Pokemon, and the Mario Sports games which are already a bit niche.

Pretty much everything else Nintendo does is considered a banger.

Now compare that to several Xbox/PS games that came out recently, Calypso Protocol, Forspoken, and Atomic Heart which all look amazing but ended up being pretty subpar.

The last I played and stopped was Lost Ark. Really cool starting experience, but as someone who likes to make alts, that process is a nightmare past your first couple. The forced way of doing quests to level up and only being able to do the end game quests a couple times per character made me lost interest in the game.

The last MMO I played and am still playing is City of Heroes. Been playing this game since launch and I don't think I will ever uninstall it. Too much fun and started playing with my wife as well.

You don't really have to. There's going to be characters and references from the first game you might miss, but who plays BL for the story anyway.

It's worth a playthrough though just because the classes feel different.

Not show, but the movie Ready Player One got me to read the book and the sequel and they are now some of my favorite books.

Finished watching His Dark Materials recently and plan on reading them.

I never pay attention to trophies or achievements or whatever.

The only time I 100% a game is when I truly love it. I've only done it a handful of times. Mass Effect Trilogy, Samurai Warriors 5, Hyrule Warriors, Age of Calamity and currently about 120 hours into Xenoblade 3 trying to 100%.

There was nothing to fix though. The game was fun and fine the way it was. Now they are reverting and reducing customization options for players that enjoyed the game and actually stuck with it.

Hyrule Warriors is one of the better ones. Lots of content, runs great on Switch and is just fun.

My personal favorite for Switch is the original Fire Emblem Warriors.

I also recommend Samurai Warriors 5 since it's a soft reboot of the Samurai Warriors series.

And also Warriors Orochi 4. It has every Dynasty and Warriors character plus original characters and has almost 180 unique playable characters

Dynasty Warriors. Nothing gets the violence out like taking out 1000s of warriors on a huge battlefield to awesome rock/techno music.

It's my definite stress release game.

Chivalry 2.

No ranked mode and you can put in as much effort as you want.

The game is easy enough to pick up and run into a group and spam and get some kills and have some fun.

Learning the mechanics makes you better than 85% of players and allows you to top the scoreboard. If big battles aren't your thing there are also 1v1 and 3v3 duels.

You can be as competitive as you want without the stress of having to be a try hard in ranked.

I feel ya there. I spend half the day at work excited to play a game and when I get home my energy level is 0 and I just end up watching YouTube or something.

I have made good progress on Xenoblade 3 and have put in over 100 hours into SD Gundam Battle Alliance since release but other than that I've been stagnant on games.

Just started Stray and enjoying it so far. Simple gameplay but beautiful and great sound design.

Honestly those are the only ones I really play.

I liked beat Saber but I hated having to download a new mod tool every single time the game updated because it would remove it. Having to re-download all the custom songs and sabers each time was a pain in the ass. But also you have to shower after playing because I always sweat a bunch.

Gorn is kind of fun and similar to blade and Sorc. It is a lot more cartoony and has some different physics but overall fun. I believe blade and sorc is better though.

Pavlov is pretty fun. Basically VR counter-Strike. All the weapons feel different and it has some cool game modes and maps.

Other than that I feel VR has been stagnant recently. Nothing else since Alyx has peaked my interest and that was 2 years ago.
