You want the best value for money, go Japanese.
You want something that you will pass on in your family and will hold value and can be used as an asset, buy Swiss.
You just care about the aesthetics and price, buy Chinese or "US made" with foreign parts.

I got mine from a local cobbler. Cost me less than $40 and it's made out of saddle leather or "sole" leather. It's been with me for 10 years and Ive just change the buckle because I got bored of the old one.

Reply to Any recommendations for an office chair? by notdoreen
I used to work at an office design studio and I got the chance to buy a discount AllSteel Acuity about 10 years ago. I use it everyday and it's amazing. I work about 8 hours remote.
Its about $400 and its comparable to the Herman Millers and Steelcases but not as common. And after working with different office chairs brands selling their products, I saw that AllSteel had a better quality.

I think you need to wash your kettle

Send them back to red wing! They will change the panels that need to be changed and resole them. Go on their website and search for the repair program. It’s worth it!
