The tip along this theme that I think has value is to consider how important something is by how long it's effects will be felt: 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year or 1 decade.

They are all very different - but some important stuff will still have an impact in the 1 year or less categories.

I used to have an app on my work PC that popped up a reminder if it detected 20 minutes of continuous keyboard/mouse activity. I can't remember the name now but if anyone has any recommendations I would love to hear them.
