The issue isn't really size or shape of the hoodoo. The challenge is the fact that the rock is extremely soft and will just crumble if you try to climb it.

Nuclear plants have other towers as well. Hell, the one near my house doesn't even have cooling towers, just a couple thin ones

Wow. That is so much worse than a normal paragraph. Incredible effort, I am never reading that

Devil's Kettle on the Brule River is a sinkhole that swallows half the river and the water just disappears. For the longest time it was a huge mystery where the water went, as there was no obvious outlet. Speculation ranged from cave networks to underground aquifers we're abundant, until in 2017 it was proven that the water flow above the falls was equal to the flow going into Lake Superior.
Now the only question is where the water rejoins the rest of the river.

Dude. I've been to Bryce. The red rock is all sandstone, which is extremely soft. At its softest, you crush it in your hand. Even at its strongest I would not trust it to hold my weight. Going down the trail I lost my balance and grabbed onto the wall. Instead of stopping my fall I just hit the ground with a chunk of sandstone.
