True. Although, if you’re going to reject the religion of your parents and family, that you were raised with, that opens a rather overwhelming choice about which other god you’re going to choose. There are probably thousands to pick from, different gods that humans have come up with over the centuries.
I suppose you could simply accept that god exists, but that humans don’t/can’t know anything about him/her, the “spiritual but not religious” route that’s now popular. Don’t subscribe to any particular interpretation of god. But this is probably less comforting, less appealing to many, who would prefer a more personal knowledge of god?
The god that your family raised you with, often comes with what feels like very compelling evidence: that most of your friends, family, and people you’ve come to greatly respect, all seem to agree on this particular god/religion

Yeah, I’m curious too. I wouldn’t have expected Colorado to be bad exactly… but tied with Massachusetts, home to Harvard, MIT, and many other colleges, is surprising.

Huh, so your gallbladder is connected to your bladder?
I always thought it drained only into the intestine, and your bladder was filled only by your kidneys.

Then for the sake of people like me, I hope that that tradition goes away. I’d probably rather have a root canal or wisdom teeth out, than face an 8 page paper due in 12 hours, ever again.
(Except for writing classes, where the essay itself really is the point, of course)
Too late for me, but I’d be happy if future generations don’t have to go through that, while still learning.

> The end goal has never been to write an essay, it’s just to convey information. Far more important than the essay itself is information being conveyed
As someone who loathed writing essays/papers for school… if this is true, couldn’t we just write bullet points, a bulleted list?
There’s so much extra time needed, to check grammar, ensure sentences flow together nicely, good transitions between paragraphs, don’t use the same transition words every time, satisfying conclusion and introduction, etc etc.
Could save so much time, if the essay itself isn’t really the point anyway (outside of english/writing class).
Especially for those of us who aren’t gifted writers. So many late nights, all nighters in college finishing starting 5 or 10 page papers the day before they’re due.

Yup, just dump a bucket of water directly in the toilet bowl. If it’s enough (about a gallon), and you dump it in fast enough, it will flush.
Or, you can remove the tank lid and pour it in there too, but that’s not necessary.

While I certainly don’t think it makes the show/game worse… having played both games, it’s not untrue that gay/queer folks are overrepresented in TLOU. Considering they are generally less than 10% of the population.
But given that historically, gays have been underrepresented in media, this might be a good thing.
In the second game especially though, there is a sense of “wait, he/she is also gay?”

These sores that can lead to genital herpes, are they cold sores, or canker sores? I’m not quite clear on the difference. Some are on the outside of your lips, the other on the inside of you cheeks/gums?
Which one can be transmitted as genital herpes?

Hmm, so even with inflation, there weren’t too many places you could park your money, and do better than just leaving it in your checking account? Precious metals maybe? Gold and silver?
At least we bought the maximum of I-bonds. Lol, those were probably our best investment last year, haha

Only if you had your money sitting in a checking account, instead of invested somewhere like the stock market. Oh wait… the stock market didn’t do too great last year, that might’ve been worse!
Real estate might’ve been the only investment that did decent.
