That is like... a really really bad sex doll, had the uh... interesting experience at a convention to bump into like a "modern" one and like if you had just enough booze in ya you would 100% think it was another person and supposedly they aren't that "expensive" either from talking to the owner.
You can get like a JAV modeled one for like 1.8k-2.2k; likely cheaper than an escort and far more re-usable.

Higher complexity doesn't generally improve your reliability aspects though and whereas I don't know much about the 747 it's entirely possible the 4 engines aren't entirely independent.
They might share fuel-pumps per-wing, so if say something happened to fuel pump 1 out of 2 you might not have engines 1 & 2 while engines 3 & 4 are calmy doing their thing.
Less moving parts is generally always a good thing, and if it weren't a passenger aircraft potentially eliminating down to a single engine "might" be acceptable if the gliding capabilities were very good (much like some turbo-prop planes) and the risk of losing life was overall lower.

A recall is a recall, just because it can be resolved by flashing the firmware doesn't change how it should be reported.

Making the bed everyday literally helped me get out of a bad spot of depression... I'll advocate that it's a very good and easily achieved habit to hit.
It's not easy, but if you can do one thing correctly and repeatedly you can do many other things which then let's you get back onto living life and moving forward.

Tech is a bit harder to just copy, you need to be cheap in the right areas not just on the whole thing.
Then you generally need to be able to innovate on top of said copy else you risk being behind again.

Reply to Is mining in space socially acceptable? by Gari_305
Honestly, space is already uninhabitable and I don't envision any breakthrough in that department within the millennia.
Whatever pollution generating activities we can move off-world; the better.
Accidental noxious gas leak? Vent it.
Toxic liquids? Collect, move, ignore & mark, or jettison it.
No life other than the humans and they already are in basically the best hazmat suit money can buy.
The work will be harder, and the costs significantly higher but if the raw material is dense enough and the logistics are solved it's really the best place to mine.
