i don't want to walk into that store with my red heart lol I, too, am creepy so I'd like that!
if you're open to bars, I think three sheets might be good now that they have brighter lighting

that's a really cool place. I'm not sure how busy it would be during the day (I've only been at night) but it's really close to quinnipiac so there's potential for crowding.
also I'd be interested if it was evenings or weekends :) I need motivation to finish a project or two lol

I know what you mean. i never would have found it if someone didn't take me there. and. if you do! there's also the Past Antiques which is in a neat little mall/plaza up the street. there's other stuff to see and shop in there too. there's a giant dinosaur.

there's a deli in Salem CT that's worth the trip if you're mobile. they call it cheeseburger grinder or sub I think. it's right next to Two Sisters trading post which is a fun second hand/antique-y store if you're into that kind of thing.

there's an app called "happy cow" that has a bunch of places listed. havenly and pataka haven't been mentioned yet and they're both worth trying. three sheets also has a bunch of veggie options

I imagine Yale has a resource you might ask about. craigslist and Facebook marketplace/local Facebook pages, maybe nextdoor, (and probably Reddit) are good places to look.
