Dinner leftovers for lunch: pork roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans

My employers dog was super happy to see me this morning, bouncing at the door when I walked in. So I think it'll be a good day even though it's really gray.

Not excited to be back at work after being off all last week. But this week starts my big reduction in hours before starting maternity leave.

And Stoney just showed up..... causing a bunch of old white men behind me to grumble about "that Richmond guy" being in Chesterfield

Meadowdale library has a line wrapped around the building, so dress warm! But they're moving along nicely and you shouldn't let the line keep you from voting!

It's definitely walkable and there are benches spaced out periodically if you need to sit and take a break. But it definitely gets very crowded so you'll want to do a weekday when they first open.

We put up a reduced amount of decorations this year. I'll be 36 weeks pregnant around New Year's and had to decide what was straightforward enough for my husband to repack because I certainly won't be doing it.

This is our first year with a fireplace though, so decorating the mantle and hanging stockings was a lot of fun!

Husband and I had a really busy but productive weekend. We have a new mattress that will be delivered this week (yay!), I made red beans and rice that will be lunch leftovers for the couple work days, and I made a practice pie so I'll have dessert every night this week!
