Further north, higher elevations so the weather was always dicier up that way. Flip side was back in the day it actually had to snow for schools to close and now just the threat of it closes the whole region.

Good recommendations here. I would add Stoneliegh to the list with that budget if you like more historic areas.Good schools with county taxes but just across the city line in Towson so close to lots of things.

I work by BWI and when rented in Otterbein it was a ten minute commute. Locust Point, Federal Hill are a quick shot to the airport area as well.
