SKAM sort of tried a multi-platform thing, but they didn't take it to it's logical conclusion.

Reply to A quick shower by ARareThing
Would definitely recommend a late check out if possible, but FYI not all of the lounges at Logan have showers, they're generally fine but for your purposes you might want to double-check if you go that route.
If you're flying out of Terminal E (like most international flights), I think the BA and Emirates lounges are the only ones with showers. That being said, not sure if either of them do day passes. If you have a choice, the BA lounge is better IMO.

You can still see them, just from the air. Better from that distance anyway.

Having seen them, they are spectacular and interesting, but there's a reason they tell you not to eat before your flight. Still recommend it though.

Reply to comment by RetroMetroShow in TIL In 1971, the Guinness World Records listed Clara as the "Most Indefatigable Cruise Passenger". For 14 years, she lived on RMS Caronia, which cost her $396 in daily fare. Without accounting for inflation, Cunard Line received $4 million from her in tickets. by thenerdknuckle
Yeah it's expensive but often all-inclusive and retirement is expensive too. Carnival has a 3k ticket right now for a 30-day cruise. That works out to 36k/year. Realistically it's going to be more than that, there are other costs, not every cruise is that long or has that much value for money, and not every single on-board cost is included, but it's not an astronomically high figure.
It sounds like she was living in a little bit more style than just the bare minimum room and board though.

Yeah the original pitch for that show was pretty bad, very run of the mill gender war stereotypes type stuff, but the writing very quickly evolved.
