Reply to comment by OpportunityKnown2 in hey guys. taking a lady out tomorrow. going to nyc. what's somerhing extravagant we can go to withing 200 dollars for both of us? by OpportunityKnown2
An "extravagant" night in the city would be like, a prix fix dinner at a Michelin restaurant and a Broadway show and that's about $1k.
You can have a fun night in the city, but $200 is not going to make it extravagant.
Rooftop bars are fun. I like the Monarch on 35th.
You can also find a comedy show or local band. There are often times free performances in various parks, but that's usually in the summer

A few of my friends had a friend or family member discreetly take pictures of their proposals with their phones. They look SO much better than the staged photos because you can see their genuine reactions

That's insultingly for a professional. Just get a friend to help.

100000000%
We probably wouldn't even be talking about this if they paid the taxes they should be owing. A credit for an electric car is only a fraction of the money that could be generated from the taxes of one wealthy person

Reply to NJ MVC Rude and condescending by Pretend_Selection334
I don't think anyone would be happy in that job tbh.
I've been to DMVs in NJ and PA and while some can seem particularly cranky at first, their entire demeanor changes if you have a friendly attitude and are fully prepared with your forms ready to go. I've honestly never had a bad experience or even noticed any of them truly be rude to customers (it's fatally the customers who have the attitude).

Reply to hi all, my nj family care kicks in 1/2023. I just started a new job at 18/hr last week. After 3 months at work they will offer me health insurance. I have no dependants and am a single female home owner. I don't think I'll be able to afford my house bills if I was to accept my jobs health insurance by catscatscatsohmy
Unless you work a ton of OT, i believe you should still be eligible even with your income change

Branchburg is definitely great option, but I may be biased since I grew up in Branchburg/ Somerville/ Bridgewater.

Look on the NJCL, specifically Avenel and Woodbridge. I had a house across from the new apartments at the Avenel train station and they started at 1700-1800 and the train to NYC is 40 mins
