Fellowship comes after residency. You're comparing someone fresh out of residency training to an attending that just finished optional fellowship training

What's the average US vs. European med school grad's debt?
That's why US doctors get paid more. They're starting from a huge negative

80 hours /week is on the light side for residency in general. 100 hours/week averaged over a month is the cap, so you could realistically have a 4 week schedule of 120 hours, 120 hours, 80 hours, 80 hours while making ~$50-60k/year depending on specialty and location

Thanks. I'm surprised there are sunny days in the winter. I thought they had like 18+ hours of dark in the winters up there

Is the winter the best time to see them? I assume so with like 20 hours of darkness but everything else there must be pretty inhospitable this time of year

Part of his scheme involved recruiting volunteers to administer the vaccine, then billing Medicare and keeping the money. He also took vaccines and administered them to friends and family when they were supposed to be going to people with comorbidities.
I have no idea about the legal circumstances surrounding either of these, but an article I read around the time Philly fighting covid originally got exposed pointed them out as illegal.

Thanks. Was thinking of making a trip there while I'm in the area this January but wasn't sure if it would be open or what I'd need

Does Yosemite stay open all winter? This looks awesome

Is Safran still open near the main line? It's a little drive from Philly but worth the atop for all you can eat if they're still doing it

Why is that surprising? That's on track to finish high school at 17/18 which is normal
