Despite going to Ikeas my whole life, I have never eaten in their food court. I need to amend that. Perhaps if they would walk a dish over to the boat I could cross off two bucket list items at once.

I've read articles about the group who keeps it around trying to do various things like this, but if I remember right, they can never get enough funding.

I mean, wasn't it Temple kids who flipped the car before the Super Bowl? Not saying Philly in general is in good shape, but apparently the Temple students aren't helping the issue.

Gotta be honest, Morgan & Morgan has a genius marketing team. They figure out the nuances of every city they are in (which is probably like every city ever) and they know how to use it to their advantage. You can bet they are advertising in Pittsburgh with the same ad but saying "yinz."

Reply to A cat showed up on my doorstep by KindandJustDemonKing
It's super cold out, bring him in tonight, keep him in a bathroom or other confined place and then think about it in the morning. I'd say don't take him to ACCT, they mean well but are always too full. Find a no kill shelter to take him. Also look on PawBoost for lost cats. And while I am not a cat person, and "say" I would never take one in, you may have been chosen - meaning you're now married to said cat.

I've witnessed this, too...and it's pretty hard to step up to be the hero when everyone else is cowering around you - you realize pretty fast that no one has your back. Realistically, the best I could think to do would be find a conductor or call 911 (not that I would expect immediate help). Also, in real life, I have been there and tried to make some kind of eye contact with one of the kids to signal "do you want to move back? Do you need help?" But thats easier said than done in practice. We need more security on SEPTA, just like Amtrak has on regional trains. Aside from the obvious cost issues why isn't there a SEPTA security officer on each train, patrolling up and down?
