Not that these rules do any good if the Tory in question thinks they're too important to follow the rules, or if they're just lazy and incompetent.
Also Sunak isn't exactly free here either - he re-hired Suella Braverman who resigned her position as Truss's home secretary for getting caught repeatedly sending sensitive information via her personal email account (she lied about it until she was presented with proof, but that's standard for Conservatives). Now Sunak looks just as indifferent with national security as Truss was, and that's one of the few areas where voters (bizarrely, given the facts of the matter) rate the Tory's highly.

Look, the Tories get years to raid the public purse and strip workers rights, but every so often they have to pull their finger out and con the public into giving them more years to rape and pillage the country, because gulling them into voluntarily choosing to keep the boot on their neck makes them less likely to object to it. So even if the next election is an eternity or two away it still helps to keep tabs on voters and their little feelings.
