Yeah we're definitely paying way over the current price. Standard oil used to let them lock in a rate when they signed the contract for delivery but wouldn't even let them do that this year because prices were so variable. Meanwhile, our delivery last month was 5.20 a gallon! Plastic film has helped somewhat, but I have cats so you can guess how long that lasted lol

It's especially crazy because plenty of people in this state don't have oil heat! So their utility costs are high, but not crazy like this. I have no idea why the government isn't just throwing money at homeowners to get them to switch from oil to electric.

I think for a men's cut they're in line with most places unless you're going to a Sports Cuts type of place. It looks like S&C and Hive will probably charge you about the same. Personally I like Skull and Combs, it's usually quick, they've offered me coffee while I waited and there's a dog.

Seconding this. Aterlier Florian has a pretty good brunch, good atmosphere, sometimes they have a musician playing. And it's close enough to where you want to be.

I don't play, so take this with a grain of salt, but I see groups playing on east rock park's rice field, usually on afternoons and weekends. You might need to scope it out yourself to see what the deal is, though.
