"Who Done It", the second part of the Who Shot JR episodes from Dallas, is still the second most-watched television episode of all time. Behind only the finale of MASH. 76% of all televisions were tuned to that episode. It's literally credited for popularizing the cliffhanger, and helping CNN get off of the ground.

Hard to beat that.

I remember when they switched from spinning the letters, to touching the screens, and everyone just assumed that she'd retire then. Don't really need somebody to touch the screens, so the rumor was that she'd do it for a bit and quietly move on to other things.

That was 25 years ago.

Fun fact, she's touched screens longer than she turned letters. 1982-1997, and now 1997-2022.

I thought you were exaggerating.

Dude has posted about Charles in Charge like 15 times in the last week.

I have fond memories of that show too, but outside of the theme song being awesome, it didn't have much redeeming value, or do anything that a dozen other "out of place housekeeper/nanny" shows didn't do better.
