There hasn't been yellow line service in months. Until it returns, you'll continue to see 10+ minute headways.

I attend cleanups in the Piney Branch area, and my guess is people smoking while drinking in the woods. You'll find a spot 30 or so feet from the road or trail covered with bottles and cans. I haven't seen evidence of campfires to date, though I guess that that would also be a possibility.

I went to the home opener and it was nuts. I didn't sit in GA section, but found myself looking over at the beersnake and lemon throwing about as much as I watched the game. It was really funny. Described it as "bonkers" to my friends as a selling point.

Plus, oil is a huge industry in ND. You don't need a degree to work on a field.

It's essentially a flow chart. This sub has been overrun by Sankey diagrams as of late.

Shein is also notorious for stealing designs from other companies, so it's not surprising that they have so many items. There are an awful lot of designers - large and small - to steal from.

It's also a strong statement that leadership doesn't want to get fired, and that leadership would love their equity stake to increase in value. Stock buybacks are not investments in the company, as Apple already got everything they were going to get when the shares were floated. Apple has been sitting on an absolute pile of cash for a long time.

The chart shows the percentage of Latin American immigrants living in Italy that are from select Latin American countries. It doesn't cover where Italians emigrate to.

Per capita isn't the right approach. Little kids aren't in the market for a new home. Either use households or the adult population.
The quote in the subtitle is misleading, as it implies that NIMByism is why the number of permits are what they are. Based on the HOUST data in FRED, the growth in housing starts post-2008 crisis has been strong.
Growth rates would have made more sense.

I think that there are caps on the number of federal FTEs, but I may be imagining things. Brookings has a report from 2020 that shows the number of contractors, available at https://www.brookings.edu/blog/fixgov/2020/10/07/the-true-size-of-government-is-nearing-a-record-high/

The shift away from FTEs to contractors is a total drag. I remember, as a federal contractor, writing a plan for the department head that essentially said, "you need 3 FTE to do this and are contracting for 6." I then quit because I couldn't stand the BS that being a contractor entails.

It would be interesting to see a visualization of where people are from and where they were located at Census. It won't show brain drains if at the state level, but could add some nuance. My guess is that it would just make smaller, conservative states look bad though

Ideally, post-graduate and post-secondary education would be separate categories. It would help provide more context to education attainment. For example, a big chunk of people in DC have a master's degree.
