I signed up for it one day when I realized I'd left my credit card at home and needed to reload my SmarTrip card. I added $20 to the app and was able to get into the station to start my trip, but it would never scan at the exit. The station manager tried to help me figure it out, but in the end after many tries we got frustrated and they let me go through without paying. Sooo my app still says I have a trip going (from months ago at this point with no way to end it and start a new trip), and I bought a new physical card. Never again.

Ooh I wish I could see contractor stats too, I'd have to imagine those numbers have been increasing over the years. I was a federal contractor at the same agency for about seven years and there were other contractors who had been there for 20+.... really makes you wonder why those aren't permanent government positions.

Yeah I wonder what they count as admin staff... I'm curious to take a deeper look into the definitions!

Built this in Power BI using data from https://wicn.nssc.nasa.gov/ (specifically, the "Workforce Profile Cube"). There's a ton of data you can get from that site (breakdowns by center, age, gender, retirement eligibility, more detailed labor categories, etc.). Wish there was a way to host interactive Power BI dashboards online for free -- if anyone knows of one I would appreciate it!

I'm currently pet sitting for someone in 1221 Van and have also had my dog boarded in someone's apartment there. I would not recommend renting there. When I went to pick up keys, a few people in the building were joking in the elevator about how it was the only one working (of I think 3?) and that maintenance there was pretty bad in general.
