I didn't watch much of Wings, it may have played against something else. I remember watching WKRP with my dad as a kid. Both great shows.

Interesting that you mentioned Brooklyn 99 since it always felt like an updated version of Barney Miller to me. I think its more of a cyclical thing. The work place sitcom is not a new thing, there's been things like Cheers, Mary Tyler Moore, Mash, Sports Night, News Radio, Taxi, Night Court, Murphy Brown etc there may be more of a concentration of them now. I have to admit i don't really keep up with modern comedies so i can't say for sure

We have anti freeze wiper fluid that's rated to negative 35-45 C. Its good for all year round and works just as well when I get up to 30 C in the summer. That's in the 90s F i think.

Also, New Mexico gets icy? Only asking because I am from Ontario and thought it was toasty 365 days a year there.

On top of hemoglobin carrying oxygen, it can also be a sign of an underlying condition. For example I was severely anemic and it was Leukemia.

I tend to throw a pretty wide net about what I see as horror. I will pretty much include anything that is trying to scare or disturb me but isn't just misery porn.

I know when I saw the VVitch I could hear general discontentment from the audience. I loved the movie but I don't really know many people I would recommend it to. Even the other big horror fan was turned off because of the marketing of it being the scariest movie ever that A 24 will do. I fear Skinamarink is the same.

I have heard it's batshit but it's up to the viewer whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. It's supposed to be coming to Shudder in the next few months so I will catch it then.

I don't disagree but the movie unfortunately didn't do anywhere near as well as Die Hard did.

I have watched it several times and it holds up. A good parody of Agatha Christie stories that respects what it's poking fun at. The sequel is a lot of fun.

Not saying it was easy but I he first baddy to die happened after they fell down a flight of stairs and the badfu broke his neck. John was just trying to survive not kill him.

Like I said it's more of a relative thing for the time and genre. There was some negativity because Willis was not seen as a super tough guy not even like earlier action stars like Steve McQueen. He was also typecast as a goofy guy. He certainly is not an everyman by reality's standards but action movies aren't reality. The decade started with Harrison Ford as the big action hero but bulky muscle men replaced that ideal. Willis was probably more of a return to form.

It's a relative thing. For most of the 80's Arnie and Stallone were the big budget action heroes. Willis was best known for Moonlighting. The big action hero persona Willis has came about because of Die Hard. John McLane first kill in the movie was an accident.
