Agreed with your second paragraph, all the negative responses here about kids at brew pubs are pretty puzzling. Maybe I’m just getting lucky and not running into the feral children everyone seems to be so afraid of?

Are the days you have to go in consecutive? I was in a similar situation a few years ago and I would stay at an AirBNB one or two nights a week. Not sure what the prices or availability are like these days but I would look into it.
