There’s plenty of countries you can move to if you love dictatorships and enjoy living under the boot.
I’m not sure I’ve seen a competent dictator yet though - they usually seem to drag their country down with them. Any examples you’d like to live under?

There will be less dead Ukrainians if Putin is defeated. Allowing Putin to stay in power isn’t going to make Ukraine, or the world, any safer.
And let’s not forget - it’s the Ukrainians that want the Russians off of their land. They’re asking for our weapons and we need to give them everything they need to kill the invaders.

The current Russian leadership is unlikely to survive being pushed out of Ukraine - and if it does, the country will be broken demographically and economically.
Even if it does lead to an extended, drawn-out conflict we have to let other dictators know that aggression is punished harshly.
Economic sanctions haven’t had as harsh an immediate affect as some hoped, but the country will be bled dry fighting sanctions and a major war at the same time.

Defeat Russia in Ukraine militarily and economically. Anything less just stores up more problems for the future.

We’re fickle, changeable beings that make bad decisions - if it was an AGI with a sense of self preservation, it would do everything to ensure it’s long-term survival and remove its dependency on us.
